Support SharePoint development, configuration, and migrations — all from home.

Peak D365 is growing, and we’re looking for a talented SharePoint Consultant to join our 100% work-from-home team. In this role, you’ll support the development of SharePoint Online solutions, assist in ShareGate migrations, and help deliver modern, user-friendly collaboration tools for global clients.


You’ll work alongside certified Microsoft professionals (every Peak resource holds at least two Microsoft certifications) and contribute to projects that make a real impact in content management, automation, and business efficiency.


📄 Role Summary


The Consultant – SharePoint Development and Migrations supports the delivery of SharePoint Online solutions that improve collaboration, content management, and business process efficiency. This role assists in the development, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint pages, lists, and libraries, and provides hands-on support for content migrations using ShareGate. Working under the direction of senior team members and project leads, the Consultant contributes technical expertise and ensures the successful execution of assigned tasks within established standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Development and Configuration

  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint Online sites, pages, lists, and libraries in alignment with business and user requirements.

  • Assist in creating modern SharePoint pages, layouts, and web parts that enhance usability and adhere to organisational branding guidelines.

  • Configure list views, metadata, and content types to support structured data management and collaboration.

Migration Assistance (ShareGate)

  • Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of SharePoint migrations using ShareGate under the guidance of senior consultants or project leads.

  • Perform pre-migration assessments, content analysis, and remediation activities to ensure migration readiness.

  • Support migration execution, validation, and issue resolution to maintain content accuracy and integrity.

Enhancements and Change Management

  • Contribute to implementing updates, improvements, and configuration changes to existing SharePoint environments.

  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to test, validate, and deploy SharePoint changes.

  • Assist with documenting and communicating system changes, updates, and enhancements.

Governance, Security, and Compliance

  • Adhere to established SharePoint governance, permissions, and data management standards.

  • Support compliance with security and access control policies.

  • Provide input to improve consistency and quality across SharePoint sites and content.

Documentation and User Support

  • Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and migration activities.

  • Provide end-user assistance and guidance on SharePoint features, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, resolve issues, and enhance overall service quality.


As a SharePoint Consultant, you will:

  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint Online sites, pages, lists, and libraries.

  • Assist in creating modern SharePoint pages, layouts, and web parts aligned with branding and usability standards.

  • Help plan, prepare, and execute ShareGate migrations, including assessments, remediation, validation, and issue resolution.

  • Contribute to enhancements, configuration updates, and change management activities.

  • Follow SharePoint governance, permissions, and data management standards.

  • Provide documentation, end-user support, and collaborate with senior consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.


🎓 Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2–4 years supporting SharePoint Online development and configuration

  • 2–4 years experience with ShareGate migrations

  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and governance

  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or PowerShell is a plus

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
